The long and tiresome tallying of presidential votes in Kenya's first election under the new constitution of 2010 is slowly but surely drawing to a conclusion. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta of the Jubilee Coalition is in a commanding lead with over 4.7 million votes against Mr. Odinga's 4.2 million votes. the pending results are seemingly from predominantly Jubilee Coalition strongholds, albeit a considerable number of the pending results could also go to Mr. Odinga's CORD coalition.
